Institute of Personnel Banking IBPS), every year conducts Common Written Examination for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in different cadres like Agriculture, IT, Marketing, Legal, Rajbhasha Adhikari and HR in several nationalized banks. The selection of the candidates for the of Specialist Officer is done through Online Written Examination and Interview. Candidates , who want to achieve the on this position have to clear online examination and personal interview. As more and more candidates are filling the form for these posts, the competition has also increased manifolds. So, in order to grab the, they need to start preparing for the test as soon as they fill the online application form. IBPS SO 2019-20 Exam will be conducted in the following three phases: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview Process.

The test comprises of overall 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each. For making every wrong answer, 0.25 marks get deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidates. If candidates do not attempt a particular question, then no penalty is imposed on the them. For the final selection, candidates have to obtain the cut off score for the post. The cut off marks are decided on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in written test and personal interview.

Interview: Candidates, who qualifies the written examination, are called for personal interview. The marks obtained in written test and personal interview determines the selection the candidates for the post.
